Meet the founders.
HeartFocus is the brainchild of French brothers Bertrand, who holds dual doctorates in medicine and engineering, and Olivier Moal, a Berkeley and EPFL engineering alum.
In San Francisco’s winter of 2014, the brothers devised a ground-breaking imaging algorithm. This venture quickly evolved into a specialized endeavour in medical imaging, fueled by collaborations with Bordeaux’s healthcare and academic institutions.
Moved by cardiology’s pressing challenges, the Moal brothers refined their focus to democratize cardiac ultrasound expertise. Supported by an ambitious team, they developed the HeartFocus solution. This AI guidance technology, born from a blend of innovation, compassion, and international collaboration, is setting a new standard for accessible, advanced cardiac care.
